Attending the Powerful Tools for Caregivers class, I have gained patience and understanding of the disease.

As an Adult Day Care owner it is a daunting task to find funds for members in need. Adult Day services are essentially important for the member and their caregivers to lead their everyday lives. Not all clients are eligible for state funding and are unable to fund for services themselves. It is wonderful to have support as Litchfield Health and Wellness Resources. With the help of Litchfield Health and Wellness Resources we were able to support members at our center preventing early nursing home placement and helped slow progression of their illness as well as depression of being homebound. Members of our community and I are very lucky to have LHWR to help us care for the ones we love.
